So my hubby and I were emptying out our storage unit last month when I came across this bag of chips; my husband aka 'Mikey' opened up the bag and started eating them. All of a sudden a strange Stale smell came across my nose and I started to become suspicious. I looked over at my husband who had the strangest look on his face and I asked him for the bag. At that moment I just about crapped! The expiration date said August 29, 2003 (one day before we got married)! My god! I thought he was going to throw-up. He was trying all sorts of things to get the unforgiving taste out of his mouth...all I could do at this point was laugh my ass off. Maybe next time he puts something in his mouth he will check to see if it is safe to digest.

I went to heaven...a.k.a. the Chiroprator
So I made myself an appointment to see the chiropractor and went this evening. I haven't been to a chiropractor since I was a young gal. Ever since I had children, things have been jacked up and it just got worse after having my weight loss surgery. After all was said and done I would have to say that I feel a little better then I did before going in. I plan on seeing him on an average of once a week (since the insurance is paying 100%) for the rest of the year. I just hope he can help me with this pain on the left side of my neck and my back.

We love visuals, right?
If you are like me then you are very visual. I have to be able to envision everything that I hear and read or else I draw this blank look on my face. So with that being said I thought I should include a picture of my family and a before picture of myself. I will be posting plenty of before and after pics along with videos; so please subscribe to my blog today:)

The Blogging Journey Begins
Let's start off by introducing myself, I am Bridgebutt aka Lenette. I am a thirty-one year old mother of two. I will be married for five years this month. I am a stay-at-home mother who doesn't always enjoy being home. Don't get me wrong, I love being home with my kids but there are days I wish I could walk out of the house with no diaper bag, no sippy cup, and hop into the car without having to put everyone in their car seats. No one warns you about this motherhood stuff until it's too late; why is that? Are people afraid that if they mentioned how tough it is to be a mom then we women would stop having children? Well, maybe. On March 25 of this year I had gastric bypass surgery. Not a day goes by without thinking of how grateful I am for this procedure and how it has changed my life. My highest weight was 269 lbs and now I am down to 197.6 lbs. I am so proud of my 70 pound loss, but I still have a ways to go. I still battle with food, I am still addicted to food, it is my drug. Every day I have to deal with the food demons, some days I win and other days it wins. I am not perfect, nor will I ever admit that I am. The surgeon might have changed my stomach, but he didn't change my way of thinking. My reason for starting a blog? I, like many other women, likes to talk. I just moved into another small town in Wyoming and sometimes the computer is my only other way of communicating with adults. I want to talk to you and everyone else about motherhood, marriage, weight loss surgery, post-op product reviews, the thrills of living in a small town and whatever else comes to mind. Please join me and comment so I know someone is out there hearing what I have to say; I also like to hear what you have to say about these topics. So let's begin…
